5.2/10
My stay at the Mandarin Oriental, Bangkok was a good experience marked by world-class service and stunning river views, although the breakfast menu could use some enhancements to match the hotel's overall luxury. The charming colonial-style room, set by the riverside, provided comfort and elegance, but I found the size somewhat lacking compared to other luxury hotels in the city. While the hotel's historical charm is evident, there are minor soundproofing issues that could be addressed for a quieter stay.
Rooms

I stayed in the Chao Praya room, which was beautifully appointed with colonial-style decor and offered fantastic views of the river; however, I found the bedroom a bit smaller than expected, and the ceiling height was lower than ideal in some areas.

While the ambiance of the Verandah restaurant is lovely, and the food presentation was superb, I found the breakfast menu a bit underwhelming compared to other luxury hotels, lacking standout options that would impress guests.

The facilities are extensive and well-maintained, including the enjoyable spa experience across the river, which required a pleasant boat ride; however, I noticed some slow responses from the porter service during peak times.
